003 Blume Investment
What if we made an investment based on a nudge?
A couple of years ago, Garth and Sam started experimenting with improvised guided openings: a strange, joyful mix of music and spoken word. They were fun. And somewhere along the way, a thought emerged: wouldn't it be cool to do this on a festival stage one day?
Fast forward to now.
Sam's coaching client, Dan Blackledge, the founder of Hideout Festival, was bringing his next big idea to life: Blume, a new family festival venture.
An opportunity appeared to invest. The dots started connecting.
Anatomy of the drop.

The Rule
Investing in startups is for professionals only. Do your due diligence, scrutinise the data, negotiate terms and guarantees.
02
The Provocation
What if we invested based on a relationship, a shared ambition and a nudge from the universe?
03
The Experiment
We invested £20,000 in Blume. Not only as a financial investment, but as a ticket into a much bigger experiment. A chance to build relationships, create opportunities, explore new ideas and get on to a festival stage doing something a little different. We're putting our money, time and curiosity into the mix.
